Can we celebrate diversity? How can greater understanding, recognition, acceptance and/or tolerance be achieved for the GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) population.

Join us Monday, Nov. 24, 7 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church North Campus for Whatever. We will discuss: How to show our GLBT friends our support by standing up against those who choose to oppose. A better understanding of the person who is different from us and begin to see them as the unique creation God designed them to be.

“Whatever” is a monthly study/discussion group at GSLC looking at current topics with a faith viewpoint, open to anyone and everyone.

They set the schedule for topics like a year in advance, so this topic was chosen last Autumn. After the letter to the editor I had written in Sep/Oct, they asked me to be part of the panel. Not sure who else will be there. Should be an interesting dialogue.
