    Dakota OutRight is co-sponsoring a multimedia event with Bismarck State College Theater, and BSC’s Gay Straight Alliance in order to present the World premiere of this new play as a staged reading.

     World Premiere at Bismarck State College!

    October 12  °  7 p.m.  °  BSC Sidney J. Lee Auditorium

    Live Web cast from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. will lead to a nationwide discussion.

    Admission is free but reservations recommended due to limited seating.  Donations to the Matthew Shepard Foundation are suggested.

    Reservations:  Call 224-5511 to reserve seats by message or at the box office open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays Oct. 5-12.

    Reserved tickets must be picked up by 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the show.

    Eight members of BSC’s original American College Theater Festival award-winning production of “The Laramie Project” will be reprising their roles.

    On September 12, a group of local adolescent girls will be performing an original screenplay at BSC. This production titled “Shhhhhhh!” A Very Original Play by: The Group That Opened the Box, is based on their own writings about a number of sensitive topics including adolescent sexuality and desire. The play is directed by Dr. Kathy Blohm and Karen Van Fossan, with a photo montage by Kristi Rasmussen. Dakota Outright will be hosting an education booth at the event.  Click here to download a poster of the event.
