Brent and Chad started working together in 1999. At the time Chad was in a band called Negative Nothing with some friends at school and Brent was helping them with art for their CD cover and video. As time went on Brent began work on what would be his 11th album. Chad had a small studio in his basement and invited Brent to record there. He did and that was the start of their songwriting partnership. Since then Chad has moved with his wife Jenny to Minneapolis and purchased a home where Chad is building a new studio. Brent and Chad continue to work together via the internet, regular mail and trips back and forth between North Dakota and Minnesota. The new CD, Belles Lettres is their third CD together and they are currently hard at work on the fourth.
