FM Area Protest for Love

Join us at 12:15 on Saturday, November 15th at the gathering space on the Fargo (west) side of the Veterans Memorial Bridge on Main Ave for the F-M Area Protest for Love in conjunction with the national protest of California’s Proposition 8: http://jointheimpact.com/

We encourage you to make your own signs. Invite your friends, family, co-workers, church members, classmates, etc. This is an opportunity for us to show our support for our friends, family, colleagues, and strangers in California, as well as make a statement about the status of LGBT rights in North Dakota and Minnesota. We plan to invite the media, so a huge turnout would be great.

Suggestions for signs: Love not H8, Marriage Equality, ENDA Now, Stop the Hate, Pass Hate Crimes Legislation, Repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, Love Makes a Family, Adoption Equality, All Families Matter, or any other statement you’d like to make.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

It’s too bad there wasn’t a Join the Impact protest in Bismarck…I would have gone to F/M had I known about it in advance. But they’re organizing another nationwide protest January 10 and it would be nice to see one happen in Bis.
