AutumnFest parade 2011 is scheduled for Saturday, September 24th.  This year’s parade is not themed, so dress to show your individuality and pride!  We will be meeting and lining up on the capital grounds.  Everyone hoping to participate should arrive by 9:30 a.m.  The parade starts at 10 a.m.!

Doors open at 7:30PM. Admission is $10. You must be 18 years old or older to attend. A photo ID with DOB is required to enter. A cash bar will be provided and a dance will follow the show.

We will be collecting food for the local food pantries.  The local food pantries need our support.   Please bring non perishable food items as donations.

The planning meeting will begin at 6:30PM in the Ball Room at the DoubleWood Inn. There are not enough volunteers at the moment to have a Pridefest of any kind. We need your participation to make this possible.

Admission to the Drag Show is $10. Photo ID is required. You must be 18 or older to attend.

I just wanted to pass this along for you all to put the Creating Change Conference on your radar.  It will be hosted in Minneapolis this upcoming February and is an excellent opportunity to connect with pro-LGBT advocacy groups, community centers, activists, and national leaders.  Anyone involved with education, public policy, non-profit organizations, faith organizations will benefit from attending.  I had the opportunity to attend a couple years ago and found the conference invaluable.
 
 
It would be great to have a good size contingency in attendance from the Fargo-Moorhead area and throughout North Dakota.

Q-Talk is an open discussion forum held the last Tuesday of the month. Please come for discussion concerning issues affecting the GLBT community. It’s Perkins so eat some pie!!!!!!

We usually meet at Mr. Delicious but they have gone to winter hours and close at 6PM. We will resume meeting there in the future:)

The dance this month will be a costume optional dance! So dress up and have some fun. bring all your friends.

Get ready to party! We are now holding our dances at the Best Western Doublewood Inn (1400 Interchange Ave, Bismarck)

I hope to see you and all your friends there. The better the turnout the more often we will have dances. We are in the planing stage of getting a black light foam party going. If you know of any venues that can host an event like this please send me a message! If you would like to be involved in the planing process let me know. We always need volunteers.
